CRIS Golf Program

School Introduction

The CRIS Golf Program at Chiang Rai International School develops young golfers through structured, age-appropriate training across three program levels. Our coaching team combines international golf instruction standards with a nurturing school environment.

Students train on-site and at partner facilities in Chiang Rai, with a curriculum that balances technical skill development, course management, and character building. The program is open to students in grades 4 through 12.

Golf Program Coach Introduction

Junior program students during a golf session
JuniorGrades 4–5

An introduction to golf for younger students. The Junior level focuses on fundamentals: grip, stance, swing basics, and etiquette. Sessions are short, fun, and designed to build a lasting love for the game in a supportive group setting.

Intermediate program students during a golf session
IntermediateGrades 6–8

Building on the Junior foundation, Intermediate students develop consistency across all clubs, begin on-course play, and learn basic course management. Competitive opportunities are introduced at this level for students who are ready.

Advanced program students during a golf session
AdvancedGrades 9–12

The Advanced level prepares serious golfers for inter-school competition and beyond. Students refine their full game — driving, iron play, short game, and mental approach — with individualised coaching and regular competitive play.
